Puffy Under Eyes Treatments : Reviewed
What you need to know about wrinkles, dark circles, puffy eyes
While it is possible to alter one’s lifestyle to counteract these developments such as getting more sleep, relieving stress, and ceasing unhealthy behaviors such as smoking and or excessively drinking alcohol, the truth is that there are many other reasons why these conditions develop. For example, if you have a family history of these conditions, and or are having congestion problems, you can also develop dark circles, puffy eyes, and fine lines and wrinkles. You can also develop these common skin conditions as a result of prolonged exposure to the sun.
While some plastic surgeons and dermatologists suggest injection therapy to combat these problems, a vast majority of consumers prefer to use topical, over-the-counter solutions. Cosmetics have advanced significantly in the last decade and Puffy Under Eyes serums are no exception. Ongoing research in the area of peptides as well as thorough clinical testing has resulted in formulas that are not only extremely powerful, but are also safe as well. Injection therapy on the other hand, is both risky and highly expensive.
Our staff has compiled a list of the
top ten most effective
Puffy Under Eyes Treatments available online. These
Products were
Reviewed and rated on a variety of criteria including an
evaluation of their ingredients, a comparison of clinical trial results,
overall customer feedback, and finally cost effectiveness.
Our staff strongly suggests using
Products that are supported by independent, clinical evidence.
The Best Puffy Under Eyes Treatments are those that have been clinically tested and proven to work. Independent clinical tests are extremely expensive and are only performed on higher end Products . As a result, Products that have been clinically tested are generally more expensive than their competitors. However, independent clinical tests are the only verifiable way to determine if a product is truly effective or not.
What inevitably
happens to some well intending
Puffy Under Eyes Products is that they spend their budget
on creating a well-packaged, well-advertised product, and unfortunately
do not leave enough money in their budget to have their product
tested. This is unfortunate as modern day consumers are often
able to see past a well designed label and determine if the ingredients
inside are really worth their money.

How to Add Volume to Your Hair...
HOME > STYLING HOME >> Hair Volumizing Tips
Hair Volume Boosting Tips Galore! Flat, lifeless limp hair doesn't have to be a problem. Wish you could get big sexy celeb hair? Below are some simple, useful tips to adding volume to your hair. You can also check out Hot Rollers: step by step instructions on how to use hot rollers for volume. And also see Using a Flat Iron: you don't have to have straight sleek hair without volume with these flat ironing tips!
Volumizing styling products cause the hair cuticle to swell. Thus letting pollutants and excess heat, damage the cortex of your hair. Use moisturizing, volumizing products. Good quality salon volumizing products will not weigh yout hair down.
Use a lightweight volumizing conditioner everyday! YES, you must still condition your hair. As above, volumizing products swell the cuticle. Therfor, you need to protect your hair! If your hair is weighed down by conditioner, then you are using the WRONG kind!
Use a volumizing mousse only at the roots.
Ask your stylist to give you a point cut. Point cutting creates uneven ends and texture creating the illusion of volume in the hair.
Blow hair upside down, while lifting roots to add volume.
After drying is complete, spray hair lightly with an aerosol hairspray and blow-dry hair again for a minute.
If you need volume at a certain point, tease the hair
If your hair is El' natural, opt to have a highlight or hair color done. Hair colors, perms and highlights will give your hair more volume.
Look for a gel that contains guar gum, an ingredient that gives more control over styling and banishes frizzy hair
Always apply pomades, waxes and serums to your hair, AFTER you flat iron, use hot rollers or blow-dry or your hair style will not hold.
If your hair is overly curly, keep layers long so curls don't spring out of control.
If you have fine hair, try not to let your hair grow past your shoulders. Shorter, blunt styles will give your hair the illusion of volume.
To get those separated curls, wash hair, towel dry. Apply mousse and here's the trick, spritz hair with a non-aerosol hairspray all over. Comb through and dry hair with a diffuser to create volume.
Change your part. By going against your natural part, the hair will automatically lift.

Seven Simple Secrets to Soft, Shiny Hair
Think Your Hair is Doomed to Be Crispier Than a Haystack? Not with These Tips!
What
woman wouldn't like to have shinier hair? Shiny hair is a sign of
beauty, femininity and health. It is also really hard to get if you're
not blessed with naturally sleek locks. If you've ever wondered how to
get shiny hair without dumping half your paycheck off at the salon,
don't fret. Here are seven inexpensive tips and tricks to getting the
soft, shiny hair you deserve. Soft, Shiny Hair Tip #1: Skip the Suds
Skipping shampoo can actually make your hair shinier. Shampoo strips the oils from your hair, which cleans your scalp but also dries out your hair. Skipping shampoo will let natural oils build up and make your hair glossier. However, if you cut shampoo out of your bathing regimen altogether, your hair will probably get excessively greasy. Try skipping shampoo every other shower for a healthy balance. When you do shampoo, try to focus mostly on the roots (where oil gathers) and avoid shampooing the ends, which do not really need to be shampooed because they do not get greasy.
Soft, Shiny Hair Tip #2: Deep Condition Having healthy, conditioned hair is the best way to make your hair shine naturally. Hair that is dry usually appears dull and lifeless. As hair dries out, it also develops split ends and breaks off. Use a thick, heavy conditioner to get your hair healthier, softer and shinier. When conditioning hair, leave the conditioner to sit in your hair for several minutes to make sure it soaks in.
Soft, Shiny Hair Tip #3: Turn the Tap to Cold I love a warm, steamy shower as much as the next gal, but for hair with optimum shine, it is best to turn the tap on cold for the last thirty seconds. Rinsing hair with cold water at the end of your shower will ensure the hair follicles close, making hair sleek and shiny.
Soft, Shiny Hair Tip #4: Use Leave-in Conditioner After the shower, once you've toweled off your hair, it's time for yet another conditioner. Use a leave-in conditioner to keep your hair soft and manageable and improve health over time.
Soft, Shiny Hair Tip #5: Use Hot Tools Using a hot flat iron to straighten your hair will maximize the shine. Straight hair looks the shiniest because the hair is smooth and polished. If you prefer your hair curly, using a curling iron to style your hair will also increase shine. Heat smooths the hair, whether you are straightening or curling.
Soft, Shiny Hair Tip #5: Protect from Heat! I know, I just said to use hot tools to get shine. But you also must protect hair from that heat with a heat-protecting serum. Over time, excessive heat causes hair to become dry and damaged, unless protected. Any drug store should carry a decent heat protecting serum, which will not only keep hair healthy, but will also make hair easier to style and will add lasting shine throughout the day.
Soft, Shiny Hair Tip #6: Choose the Right Color Have you ever noticed that shampoo commercials often feature women with luxurious dark hair? Blonds may have more fun, but dark hair often looks shinier than light hair because when the light shines on it, there is more contrast between the hair and the shine. Adding subtle highlights will also make your hair look shinier because it will make certain strips seem to shine more than others. Whatever you do, don't lighten hair too much. Hair is lightened by stripping strands of their natural color, often leaving them dry and straw-like. We've all seen the women with platinum blond hair that's scratchy and straw-like. Unless you have naturally pale locks, opt for a darker shade to increase shine.
Soft, Shiny Hair Tip #7: Trim Frequently Frequent haircuts will keep your hair soft and smooth. There's nothing like split ends to make a nice hair-do a hair-don't. Split ends make hair look unhealthy, and eventually will cause hair to break off. Keep your hair happy and healthy by trimming off dead ends frequently, and your hair will shine on forever.

Essential Oils
Essential oils are the pure essence of the plant and can provide both psychological and physical benefits when used correctly. Essential oils can be used on their own for aromatherapy or with complementary natural ingredients, such as vegetable or carrier oils.
Essential oils can be applied directly to the skin. Be sure to read the label before using oils topically, as some oils must be first diluted with a carrier oil.
Key areas for topical application are:
| * Crown of head
* Temples * Behind ears * Neck * Upper back * Abdomen * Over vital organs * Soles and tops of feet * Ankles |
Steps for topical application are:
1. Place 2–3 drops of oil in the palm of your hand or directly on the desired area.
2. If placing oil in your hand, rub palms together in a circular motion and then massage oil onto the desired point of application. If applying directly to the desired area, massage the oil into your skin using a circular motion. Repeat as desired.
Note: Essential oils are very potent and some may be irritating to the skin. If irritation occurs, immediately apply a carrier oil or pure vegetable oil to the area to dilute.

How to Apply Lipstick
Don't play up the eyes and the mouth women who wear heavy eye makeup
and dark lipstick can look clownish. If you want to wear This is a link
red lipstick, keep the rest of your makeup light. If you are playing up
the eyes, keep your mouth light with a gloss or light lip color that
doesn't stand out.
For "plump" lips, apply liner just outside your natural lip line. Dab a bit of gloss in the middle of your bottom lip.
How to apply lipstick? Some women use special lipstick brushes. I own one and never, ever use it. Others use their middle finger. Most women apply right from the tube. Choose what's right for you, as long as the color gets on the lips, you're good.

| Use liner on your lips as a base. Lipstick will last longer if you fill in your lips with the liner first. If you're using light lipstick, try a nude liner. Then slick your lipstick on top.
Lip gloss is infamous for wearing off fast, but if you fill in lips first with the liner, the gloss has something to stick to. |
You can line before or after you apply lipstick or gloss. Some women prefer to apply liner first, arguing that you won't be able to see the natural line of your lips if you apply lipstick first.
Never use a dark liner with light lipstick. Defined lips are great, but make sure the liner matches the lipstick or gloss. Dark liner and light lips is tacky.
Don't test lipstick on your lips. It's just plain unhygienic unless you wipe off the lipstick with a big swipe of a tissue. Even better, test lipstick on your fingertips. It's a closer fit to your lips than the back of your hand.
Don't throw out a bad color lipstick. Beauty editors know you can create a great lip color by blending lipsticks you don't like. You can also color in lips with a darker liner before applying a lipstick that's too bright.
Keep lipstick off glass. Discreetly lick your lips before taking a sip from a glass. It works!
Keep lipstick off your teeth with this trick. After applying lipstick, take your index finger and pop it in your mouth, then pull it out. The excess lipstick will come off on your finger rather than your teeth.
Lipstick can act as a blush. But never use blush as a lipstick.
| The older you are, the "creamier" your lips should look. As we age, our lips thin out.
Therefore, you should avoid matte and gloss and stick with a creamy lipstick. Also, watch out for dark lipsticks. |
Not all lipstick shades look good on everyone. Your skin color will determine what shades are right on you. You may like a lipstick on your friend, but it may not look good on you. Orange or brown shades, including corals, look good on few people. These shades tend to make teeth appear yellow.
Camouflage yellowed teeth. To downplay a yellow cast to teeth, try lipsticks with a bluish undertone. Shades that work include plums, pinks, wines and violets.
Heal -- don't throw out -- a broken lipstick. If your lipstick breaks off, simply take off the broken portion with a tissue, then slowly wave a lit match under the broken piece of lipstick. When it's melted a bit, put it back on the base, swivel it down and put it in the fridge -- uncovered -- for 30 minutes.
Lipstick done? You might notice there's still a bit of lipstick down in the tube. Scrape out the last bits with a cotton swap or orange stick and mix it with Vaseline or lip gloss in a lipstick palette. Use a lip brush to apply.

Split Ends Hair
Healthy hair is defined by thick, shiny and bouncing hair without split ends. When most of the feature is accomplished the last one is always at a risk due to one or the other reasons.
Hair split ends happens when the hair's protective cuticle is stripped away from the ends of hair fibers. It happens when the natural oils from the scalp fail to reach the ends or when cortex loses moisture and the hair begins to unravel like a rope.
The most reasons are:
- Dry scalp
- Exposure to extreme temperature and chemical products like relaxers and hair colour.
- Lack of nourishment.
- Excessive dying
- Vigorous brushing and backcombing. Use of metallic combs and brushes
- Brushing hair when it is still wet.
- Use of uncovered elastic bands on the hair.
- Use of satin pillows.
- Repeated use of heated appliances like iron or hair blow dryers
Trimming
Once the hair is split the only cure is to trim. Trim your hair with the help of these guidelines.
- Sit near a natural light source may be near the window or outdoors in the yard to see the split ends properly.
- Take a small section of hair and twist them in a downward motion. This will make the split ends to stick out automatically.
- Use a sharp scissor to snip off the split ends. Make sure you cut the damaged cuticles only. This will also enhance a natural layered effect with a thick bounce.
- It will take at least 45 minutes to go all around the head. Do it every six weeks lest the splits will travel up the hair and worsen the damage.
Get Rid Of Split Ends
- An effective remedy for split ends is trimming. Trim your hair regularly, say, about two to three centimeters from the tip. This can prevent the occurrence of split ends. To do this at home, take a small section of your hair and then gently twist it in a downward motion. The split ends will stick out by doing this. Locate the split ends, sticking out of the twisted hair, and trim them off, using a sharp pair of scissors.
- To keep your hair healthy and prevent the occurrence of split ends, you should wash your hair regularly and condition it well.
- Always wash your hair from the root to the tip, in case of very dry and brittle hair. Since the tips of the hair strands are deprived of the protective layer of cuticle, doing this will ensure that, your hair doesn't split anymore.
- While conditioning your hair, apply the conditioner in your hair, from the root to tip, and cover your head with a shower cap, with all your hair inside it. Now, place a towel, dampened with lukewarm water, on the top of the cap. Leave it there for about 10 minutes. Remove the cap and rinse your hair thoroughly, with cold water. The treatment is a surefire way to get rid of split ends. This will help you to get rid of the split ends, if you do it once a week on a regular basis.
- In case your hair is extremely dry, apply a shampoo that contains moisturizing cream in it. This will moisten your dry hair as well as prevent split ends.
- Give regular lukewarm oil massages to your hair, to prevent split ends. While massaging, make sure that you apply the oil from the root to tip of your hair. You may choose coconut oil, almond oil or olive oil for the purpose.
- Vigorous brushing or combing of hair can cause split ends. This is because harsh treatment of the hair may remove the protective cuticle layer from the strands. Hence, use a wide-toothed comb, to detangle your hair. Always brush/comb your hair gently.
- Always brush your hair when it is dry. Brushing wet hair will not only lead to hair loss, but also remove the cuticle from the strands. Using a soft-bristled brush, comb you hair down from the crown to the tip of your strands, in a gently manner.

How to Apply Foundation
Applying foundation is a simple procedure, but a lot of mistakes can be made. Here is an easy way to look great.
1. Foundation is not going to help you if it's the wrong color. Go to a cosmetic counter and request help.
They will provide samples that can be matched to your specific coloring.
2. Apply foundation by dotting it on your forehead, cheeks, chin and nose.
If you don't want all over coverage, apply just in the needed areas.
| 3. Dampen a sponge and gently distribute the foundation across your face.
4. Check jaw line and hairline to make sure foundation is well blended. |
5. Use pads of fingers and press gently all over your face. The heat from your fingers will help in the blending process.
Don't avoid this step.
6. Go to a natural light source and check your application. Any problem areas will stand out so that they can be attended to.
7. Info: If your freckles are light, don't even try to cover them up. Show them off by using a sheer foundation.
If you happen to have the darker ones that you just can't live with, choose a cream foundation to cover and even out skin tones.
8. More Info: I always apply foundation with a wet sea sponge.
I like this variety even more than the little wedges that are available. When wet, the sponge promises a sheer layer of coverage. Try it both ways to see which you prefer.
Be sure to blend, blend, blend. Special areas to watch are the hair and jaw line. And be sure that your face isn't one color and your neck another.

Natural body lotions typically have five basic ingredients, but
often less. Natural body lotions are created from specific proportions
of water mixed with oil, an emulsifier, a thickener, and a preservative.
An even simpler natural body lotion recipe can be made from coconut
oil, lemon juice and salt. Citruses promote healthy skin by loosening
the natural adhesive that secures the dead skin cells. Removing the dead
skin cells through use of a citrus in your natural body lotion works to
smooth and soften your skin. Citruses such as grapefruit, limes and
oranges can be used in homemade natural body lotions as a substitute for
lemon.
Here are some more tips in creating natural body lotions for your moisturizing beauty routine:

Finishing Up
Now that you've removed all that unwanted facial hair, it's time to finish up your shave with a quick rinse and the application of alcohol-free lotion or aftershave. If you suffered from any nicks or cuts during your shave, apply clean tissue or toilet paper immediately to stop the bleeding. Make sure you pat yourself dry, do not rub your face in your towel to avoid irritation. The last thing you should do is properly rinse your razor. Avoid drying your razor with a towel to prevent the blade's edge from becoming dull.
